Stanford hall, first regional show. 02/05/2010

Just thought i would get a thread started as it has been mentioned previously in another thread and seemed to generate a bit of interest.

The date will be Sunday 2nd May 2010

For those of you that havnt attended the show before and would like further details then you can read all about it HERE

If you are interested in being on the stand as part of the Coventry and Warwickshire region please be aware of a few items before you put your name down

Entry to the display area is only permitted between 8.00am and 11.00am. All participants MUST be prepared to leave their vehicle in this area up until 4.00pm (Stanfords rules not mine)

Maximum of 10 cars on the stand (I will probably only book place for 5 depending on interest)

If numbers are exceeded i will give priority to paid members of the club first

If you are still interested then register your interest in this thread, this will also be discussed at the first meet which is detailed HERE

Its more than ten years since I last went to Stanford Hall.

I know I'm from outside your region but would love to put my 08 Mk5 GTI on the stand if thats ok.

Thats fine by me, i dont mind people joining in from other regions if they dont have a stand, we are all part of the same club after all.

There is also one place left on the stand if anyone is interested or knows of anyone who will be interested. Even if the list fills and you are interested then still stick your name down and send me your details as there may still be places on the day at last minute notice if people cant make it.

As a little teaser there is something a little special planned for the day which i am still in talks about finalising the finer details!

I know there are a couple of you in the region that already know part of it so you keep quiet for now!!

I will be updating everyone soon with the full details.

The basic plan is to meet up somewhere close before so we can all go in together and get on the stand without having to keep moving around

Im just trying to work out a suitable place to meet, there is somewhere that has been suggested which i need to look into.

I think ive cracked it! As we are all coming from different directions it looks like we will all have to meet up in Stanford beforehand so everyone doesnt end up driving miles out of their way.
