Had a few people saying they're not keen on Monday nights...

http://www.clubgti.com/forum/showthread.php?t=200862

Maybe we could run two, or do the butty run thing on a week night?

Dont think i.a.n.b can make sundays either

It'll have to be a majority decision then.

TBH I'm happy for either, just been slated on the other thread for the evening thing and not being decisive enough

The issue about seeing cars in the dark is fairly valid but then I appreciate people don't want to sacrifice sundays.

I think keep it as is and see how it goes.

If it doesn't work out then change it next time. No meet will ever suit everyone.

I really struggle to make week nights. Win some, lose some I guess

I may do the the odd Sunday but I drive to Cov (35 miles ) 5 days a week, 6 if its my Saturday, not many weeks I fancy doing it a 7th time. I'm quite happy hanging around after work on a monday night.

The subject of being able to see cars is abit odd imo, first I find it more of a social thing, like to meet people and chat. Second we want to go to a pub as its cold/rain etc, how many cars will we be looking at then?

So it's three for monday one for sunday? I'm happy to make it monday night but i'd like to know the carpark was well lit.

In the interests of keeping more regulars happy shall we should swap to monday night which would be the 9th. We need a decent turnout though.

So Monday 9th
Scireborne Tavern
7.30pm onwards.

We need to start trying to increase numbers though, I know its hard over winter.

hey up guys, been outa touch since selling the gti and getting a t4 but after catching up with ian i agree with him, you need to realise that winter meets ain't going to be about kicking around a car park looking at motors, its about like minded petrol heads ,meeting somewhere and chattin n chillin in the warm with a coke or shandy, if you want to look at the cars you can't do better than a meet at maccy d's or burger king for well lit car parks, sorry to but into your thread i best go back to my t4 stuff
