Default Showcase Meet - Walsgrave, Coventry - Monday 14th Sep, 2009

This will be the last of the Evening Summer meets. From October onwards we will be changing to a Sunday afternoon, and possibly a different location, where there is some shelter from the harsher weather.

Date / Time:
Monday 14th September, 7pm

Meeting Point:
Past Frankie and Benny's, follow the car park around past the Showcase cinema, and there is a much quieter large car park past Nandos.

Maps:
Multi Map

Google Maps

Postcode is CV2 2SZ

See you all there.

Think theres a pair of mk2 16v driveshafts at the front of your garage mate, to the side of the valver shell.

Got one of the driveshafts fitted and some other stuff done, I feel like Paula Abdul at the min though as I've noticed a knackered track rod end and the brakes aren't working properly.

Probably end up in the mk3 again for this one.

Deako, i've not seen that many acronyms since I last went into a Toyota dealership! do you actually know what they all mean?

should be there too, might even bring Mr Birch along for the ride so he can feel the earth shattering might of the valver first hand!

G60's / KR / EW's / CL / erm.... whats the one for sunroof again????

Only a couple are acronyms.

DSG - Well every VW enthusiast should know it relates to the gearbox. It won technology awards in Europe.

RNS510 - Type of stereo. Touch Screen sat nav.

MFSW - Mutli Function Steering Wheel (ok, ill give you that one)

EVOMS V-Flow - Not an acronym. Its actually what it is. CAI (now thats an acronym, that stands for Cold Air Induction)

BSH Stage 1 PCV Fix - Well, the company is BSH. And the product is a Stage 1 pcv fix, which removes the PCV valve to stop oil getting sucked into the induction system.

Butty run? Id rather go to a Club GTI specific Sunday meet to be honest, otherwise its not a Club GTI meet.

That is a point, maybe if we want to do the butty run we should still do the CGTI meet otherwise it could die.
