Several of our members are very dedicated and extremely experienced track day regulars, not only taking part in club events but also other aspects of Motorsport generally. These individuals are always on hand to offer friendly advice, are very approachable, and will always do their best to help anyone out.

The Nurburgring is a huge event for Club GTI.
The club faciliates a number of track events throughout the year on varying levels, giving members the opportunity to exploit their cars potential to the full, all within a relatively safe environment without exposing your licence!
The Nurburgring
A group of our forum members arrange a trip to the legendary Nurburgring during the summer months. Taking place over a long weekend, the trip is the only excuse a GTI owner needs to sign up for an experience of a lifetime. Many of the forum members are experienced ‘Ring attendees and have a wealth of advice and tips to assist any prospective member make it a truly enjoyable and safe experience. In 2008, over 60 people were in attendance, dining out for three successive nights together, all in a tremendous atmosphere. The VAG Trackday Tour
Within the Club GTI Forum, we coordinate a number of well established VAG-marque specific track events and couple these up with days supplied by the major track day organisers. This enables members to enjoy days out with a wide variety of people in attendance, and members can simply attend the events as 'meets' and there's advice for anyone wishing to get involved with track days. These cover a range of circuits accessible to most in England, and this calendar will be extended to a separate calendar for Scotland on due course. The events are generally held at weekends only, in order to ensure maximum attendance, and the events are selected carefully in order to ensure they're well-priced and at good locations. Curborough
This superb little circuit is located between Lichfield and Burton on Trent and is easily accessible from the A38. It is widely regarded as the ancestral home of the Club GTI track scene. Again this circuit is an ideal mix of short straights blended with an equal mixture of left and right hand corners, some with banked rumble strips and a very deceptive chicane on the rear section.
